Funnel Report

1. Feature Overview

The Funnel Report is an analytical tool that maps the critical path of ad monetization, displaying data volume and conversion efficiency at each stage of the funnel. It visualizes the complete ad monetization chain—from Request → Fill → Price Comparison → Impression—allowing you to deeply analyze data performance and conversion rates across core stages, quickly identify bottlenecks, and optimize your monetization strategies.

The Funnel Report supports flexible switching between two dimensions "Mediation Unit" and "Ad Unit" , so you can view overall aggregated strategy performance or drill down to granular data at the individual ad unit level. Ad unit‑exclusive metrics such as Price Comparison Participants and Price Comparison Winning Rate are also available.

When viewing statistical reports, you can flexibly select multiple calculation methods “Events”, "Devices", "Events per Device", and "Events per DAU" to evaluate the health of the monetization chain from multiple perspectives, including total event volume, device coverage, and user engagement.

2. Funnel Data

2.1 User Guide

(1) Data Availability

  • This page provides daily-level data, with complete metrics for the previous day generated by 24:00 .

(2) Flexible Filtering & Analysis

  • Supports multiple filters (time, app, ad type, mediation unit, etc.).
  • Enables funnel visualization and custom queries for detailed analysis.

(3) Recommended Approach

  • Analyze by mediation unit—meditation unit metrics across all units may obscure specific issues.

(4) User-Centric Metrics

  • Toggle between device count or DAU to calculate per-user metrics (e.g. requests per user).
  • DAU-based analysis reveals user drop-off rates at each funnel stage.

(5) Funnel Report Dimension Switching

Supports viewing data at either the “Mediation Unit” or “Ad Unit” level:

  •  Mediation Unit Funnel: Aggregates metrics along a complete multi-mediation strategy request chain (Mediation Unit Request → Fill → Price Comparison → Impression).
  • Ad Unit Funnel: Drills down to the individual ad unit level. A single aggregation unit request may trigger multiple ad unit requests, and bid comparison/auction-related metrics are calculated at the ad unit level.

(6) Report statistics method offers multi-select with 4 options that refreshes data on selection, with at least one required:

  • Events: count of the specific event occurrences.
  • Devices: count of unique devices that triggered the event.
  • Events per Device: Events / Unique Devices — average event frequency per device.
  • Events per DAU: Events / DAU (DAU for the currently selected dimension. For example, broken down by ad unit, it represents the DAU that requested that specific ad unit; summed across days if multiple days are selected).
