Explanation of the concept of hierarchy in Hyperbid Tools

In Hyperbid Tools, there are two concepts: "Mediation Unit" and "AD Unit":

① "AD Unit":It can be understood as the AD Unit configured in the Hyperbid Tools waterfall flow, corresponding to the placement level of the mediation platform;

② "Mediation Unit":Integrate and encapsulate the placements'ID of each mediation platform to form a waterfall flow. After completing the creation of the mediation unit, you need to add AD Units from mediation platform to form a waterfall flow.

1. Enter the Mediation Platform Account

1.1 Adding an Mediation Platform for the first time

On the [Mediation Platform] page, select the mediation platform, click [+ Add Account], and enter the corresponding parameters to complete the mediation platform account entry.

Currently supported mediation platforms: TopOn, Max, custom mediation platform

1.2 Edit an added Mediation Platform/add multiple Mediation Platform Accounts

2. Create applications

On the [Application] page, click [Add App] to enter the Create App page. Enter the corresponding parameter configuration according to the developer's app listing status to complete the app creation process. You can enter the Apple Store/Google Store address to quickly create an app.

3. Plug applications

On the [Application] - [Mediation Platform] page, select the mediation platform you just added, click [+Plug App], enter the application dimension parameters required under the mediation platform, and complete the operation of associating the mediation platform account with the application.

4. Create Mediation Units

In the [Application] - [Mediation Unit] page, click [+Add Mediation Unit] to enter the mediation unit creation page.

Step 1: Fill in basic parameters, including the name of the mediation unit and select the ad type

Step 2: Enter the AD Unit, find the AD Unit to be entered, fill in the AD Unit name, third-party placement ID, weight coefficient, and complete the AD Unit entry

Step 3: Check the waterfall preview to confirm whether the AD Unit entry is completed; note that when creating an mediation unit, if you have not completed the placement configuration on the mediation platform at this time, you can directly submit the mediation unit creation and complete the AD Unit entry before the official operation

Step 4: If necessary, you can configure different segments and modify advanced setting parameters

Note: The final price in the comparison = the price returned by the AD Unit * the weight coefficient. You can adjust the weight coefficient to prioritize a particular AD Unit.

5. Other Functions

5.1 Segments

Unified adaptation of various mediation SDKs, support for using multiple volume-cutting rules to optimize waterfall flow strategies in one APP, such as volume-cutting by country and region, and by volume-buying channel

5.2 A/B Test

In Hyperbid Tools, we provide A/B Test tools to help developers get higher profit for different segments (such as countries and buying channels).

5.3 Advanced Settings

We provide advanced settings, combined with segments and A/B Test, so that developers can adjust the number of parallel requests, the number of mediation unit caches, and the AD Unit timeout for different waterfall flows.

5.4 SDK Preset Strategy

In order to reduce the failure or long time spent on the first application policy request of the App, which affects the subsequent ad loading and display, Hyperbid Tools supports developers to export the configuration of all Mediaion Units and import them into the client before the application is released, so as to improve the ad loading effect of the first cold start.

6. View Data Reports

During the process of monetization optimization, you can also view the effects through data reports in different dimensions to empower data-driven decision-making.

Main data indicators:

The complete funnel indicators from AD requests to AD display and clicks.

AD revenue data indicators, including estimated revenue and revenue from the Mediation Platform API.

User behavior indicators, including data such as app launches and LTV.

Note: Currently, the API data is the Report API data provided by the Mediation Platform, and there may be some deviations from the actual revenue.
